The Building

 

Art gallery” Boris Denev” in Veliko Tarnovo is housed in a superb and specially reconstructed building situated in a picturesque park “Assenevtzi” laid out in 1985. Magnificent panorama that reveals from here is worth seeing. It is favourite for habitants and tourists of Veliko Tarnovo. Famous photos of old houses perched on the hills surrounding the town and their reflexion in Yantra river are made from this place. The park and the building became a part of a historical and cultural landscape formed over the course of time. Both posses grate architectural and historical value.

 

Exhibitions

 

Veliko Tarnovo art gallery fund is divided in three sections: painting, graphic and sculpture. It collects works by Bulgarian classical and modern artists from all over the country who lived and worked through different periods of art evolution.
